Lumibricks Confirms Official Blade Runner 2049 Collaboration

Lumibricks has confirmed an official Blade Runner 2049 collaboration, with K's Spinner appearing as set 23001 in official teaser artwork.

Update, 5 July 2026: Lumibricks has now officially confirmed its Blade Runner 2049 collaboration, and the first set is K’s Spinner.

I covered K’s Spinner back in June when an Amazon UK listing gave us an early look at what appeared to be a licensed Lumibricks vehicle. The important difference now is that this is no longer just an Amazon sighting. Lumibricks has opened an official Blade Runner 2049 collection page and is describing the project as an officially licensed collaboration.

Lumibricks Blade Runner 2049 Is Now Official

The official page is much more than a single holding image. It now has a full teaser sequence framing the collaboration around K’s journey through 2049, with the Spinner moving between locations such as the Protein Farm Living Quarters, a street market and K’s apartment.

The page also points visitors to a waiting list for launch updates, while Lumibricks’ matching social post says the first set, K’s Spinner, will be revealed in July 2026.

K’s Spinner 23001 Looks Like the First Set

The most useful new detail is on the official blueprint-style artwork for K’s Spinner. It labels the vehicle as K’s Spinner and carries the number 23001. I am wording that carefully for now, because Lumibricks has not yet presented a normal product listing or specification table, but it is the clearest sign so far of the likely set number.

If Lumibricks was going to start with one Blade Runner 2049 model, K’s Spinner makes sense. It gives them a recognisable vehicle, a clear lighting opportunity and a subject that should stand apart from their Neon City buildings without feeling disconnected from them.

The official teaser text describes the Spinner as built for both ground travel and aerial pursuit, with the model moving through rain, ruins and neon. That is still theme copy rather than a technical feature list, but it tells us how Lumibricks wants this set to feel: cinematic first, vehicle model second.

A Story-Led Route Through 2049

Another interesting detail is how story-led the page is. Lumibricks lays out a route archive with scenes tied to the Protein Farm Living Quarters, Wallace Archives, the Las Vegas Exclusion Zone and a Seawall Barrier flood zone. That does not confirm extra sets, but it does suggest the collaboration is being presented as a world rather than a single isolated vehicle drop.

For Lumibricks, that matters. Their strongest original ranges work because the lighting and the setting support each other. Blade Runner 2049 is a very natural fit for that approach, especially if the finished model leans into the atmosphere rather than only the shell of the Spinner.

What We Still Do Not Know

There are still several important blanks. Lumibricks has not confirmed the piece count, price, dimensions, release date, preorder timing or final availability. There is also no live buying page for K’s Spinner at the time of writing.

For now, the safest position is simple: the collaboration is official, K’s Spinner appears to be the first set, 23001 is visible on the official teaser artwork, and the full product reveal is still to come.

Why This Matters for Lumibricks

Licensed sets are not automatically better, but this one feels significant. Lumibricks has built a lot of goodwill around original themes, especially Cyberpunk and Neon City. Moving into Blade Runner 2049 could bring a much wider sci-fi audience to the brand, as long as the final model has the detail and lighting to justify the licence.

The official page also includes Alcon Entertainment rights wording, which reinforces that this is official brand material rather than another retailer leak. The previous Amazon listing made K’s Spinner look interesting. This official reveal makes it a much bigger story.
