Pantasy Banker’s Lamp 85055 is now available from Pantasy’s official shop for $68.99. The 523-piece desk lamp combines the familiar green shade and gold-coloured stand with built-in lighting, USB-C power and a working pull-chain switch.
The US and Global versions are available to order at the time of writing. The EU version is listed on the same page but is currently marked unavailable.
The Pull Chain Controls the Light
The pull chain is the most useful detail here. Pulling it turns the built-in warm light on and off, recreating the normal action of a traditional banker’s lamp. Pantasy has also fitted a second switch to the base, so the lighting can be controlled either way.
Power comes through a USB-C connection in the base. That should make the lamp easier to leave on a desk or shelf without having to reach for a battery box, although Pantasy describes it as an ambient display light rather than a replacement for a full desk lamp.
Green Shade and Gold-Sprayed Stand
The completed model follows the classic banker’s lamp layout, with a wide green shade above a slim post and stepped base. Pantasy uses a gold-sprayed finish on the stand, which gives the narrow structure a more convincing metallic look than standard gold-coloured bricks alone.
It measures 24.5cm tall, 19.5cm wide and 16.5cm deep. That is compact enough for a desk, but large enough for the shade and pull chain to read clearly. It also places the model between Pantasy’s other functional lighting sets, including the Kerosene Lamp 85056 and the earlier Stained Glass Table Lamp.
