Lumibricks Explorer Treehouse 10016 is now available on the official store, with 2,466 pieces, 14 LED lights and a price of $124.99. It is a multi-level jungle hideout, built around a large tree with a cabin tucked into the branches.
Seeing this for the first time immediately reminded me of the Danish brand’s LEGO Ideas Tree House 21318 from 2019. It’s that wooden cabin tucked into a big leafy tree. This one has a jungle exploration theme, with a hidden cave, a lookout platform and some unusual lighting features.

Up in the Branches
The wooden cabin has a dark red roof, with branches spreading around it and a ladder running up the trunk. There is a lookout platform on the side, a net hammock hanging underneath the branches and a small lifting crane.
At the bottom, there is a small pond amongst the roots, mushrooms and some very bright plants. One of them is a large carnivorous plant with its mouth open. You also get a wild boar, squirrel and owl, along with three minifigures.
The roof lifts off the cabin so you can get to the furniture and accessories inside. There is also a hidden cave in the base. I have not built this one, so I cannot say yet how easy those areas are to access.
Lighting
The lighting includes an adjustable searchlight, a rear projector and a flexible light strip. You can point the searchlight around the scene and wrap the strip around the treehouse however you like.
The projector casts small spots of light onto the wall behind the set, creating a starry backdrop. The official photo gives a good idea of the effect. Where you place it will matter, particularly the distance from the wall.
There are 14 LEDs in total, including warm lights in the cabin and lights dotted amongst the branches. The set is USB powered; batteries are not included.
Printed Details and a Bigger Forest Display
There are 26 printed bricks, including wood textures, signs and small explorer-themed details. You can see a selection of them below.
You can also connect it to Misty Forest Cabin 10015. Lumibricks says the builds join through a side-opening floor and climbing ladder, and the treehouse searchlight can be aimed into the cabin’s mist for a larger forest display. The mist system belongs to the separately sold Misty Forest Cabin, not the treehouse itself.

If you already have Misty Forest Cabin, the connection is worth a look. The photo above shows how much space the pair take up together. On its own, the treehouse is about 38 cm tall, so check the height of your shelf too.
