IAMBRICK has added three new arrivals to its official store: Riverside Bistro & Hair Salon 40103, Riverside Perfume Shop 40102 and Blaze Street Rod 50106.
The two IAMBRICK Riverside sets are the ones that immediately caught my eye. The brand has produced plenty of fantasy strongholds, wasteland outposts and standalone display models, but this pair feels like it is dipping its toes into connected modular-style city buildings. I especially like the Bistro & Hair Salon, where the stone bridge turns the frontage into a proper riverside scene rather than leaving it as another row of walls and windows.

Riverside Bistro & Hair Salon 40103
Riverside Bistro & Hair Salon is the largest of the three new arrivals at 2,924 pieces. It combines two buildings in one model: a two-floor bistro with a rooftop terrace beneath the clock tower, plus a three-storey hair salon with a waiting area, styling space and upstairs living quarters.
The stone bridge is what makes this one work for me. It gives the set a strong centre point, while the water, riverbank, lampposts, bicycle and fisherman make it feel like part of a neighbourhood. There is a lot going on without the frontage looking overcrowded.
Both buildings have opening rear panels, so the furnished rooms should remain visible without dismantling the model. Warm integrated lighting covers the bistro and salon, and the set includes three named characters: Oliver the fisherman, Lucy the salon customer and Noah the chef.
Riverside Perfume Shop 40102
The second Riverside building is a 2,771-piece perfume shop spread across three floors. The ground floor contains the shop, the middle level is a fragrance laboratory, and the top floor becomes a VIP cafe lounge overlooking the river.
This is the more elegant of the two buildings, with its pale facade, balconies, flowering vines and striped awnings. A small dock and boat extend the scene into the water, while opening rear panels and an opening roof skylight provide access to the rooms.
There is also a linked mechanism on the ground floor. Turning the gears rotates the perfume display cabinet and the glass entrance door together. Warm lighting is included, along with three characters: Neil the river sailor, Ella the perfume apprentice and Viola the VIP guest.
Could Riverside Become an IAMBRICK Modular Range?
IAMBRICK explicitly says the two Riverside sets are designed to connect through the river and stone-bridge layout. The product images also show separable floors and opening rear sections, so these are doing more than borrowing the word modular for marketing.
They do not follow the traditional 32 x 32 modular-building formula, but they are not permanently open-backed dollhouse builds either. The rear walls close for display and swing open when you want to see the interiors. That should make them easy to enjoy on a shelf, while the shared river gives IAMBRICK a clear way to keep extending the street without every building looking the same.
This is an interesting change of direction after sets such as the Wrecked Plane Pharmacy. IAMBRICK’s stranger fantasy and wasteland ideas are part of what makes the brand worth watching, but a connected civilian street could give it a more cohesive display range as well.
Blaze Street Rod 50106
The third new arrival heads in a completely different direction. Blaze Street Rod is a 764-piece American-style hot rod with red-and-black bodywork, flame decals and a large exposed engine.
Pushing the car forward moves components in the engine, while both doors and the boot open. The seats are adjustable, and the boot hides a wooden-style crate with green bottles, giving the car a small Prohibition-inspired story detail.
Price and Availability
All three sets are listed as available on the official IAMBRICK store at the time of writing. Riverside Bistro & Hair Salon 40103 and Riverside Perfume Shop 40102 are both $124.99. Buying the connected pair would therefore cost $249.98 before any delivery charges or discounts.
The Blaze Street Rod product page currently shows $42.99, although IAMBRICK’s all-products listing still shows $74.99. The product page is normally the more useful price to follow, but I would check the basket before ordering while that mismatch remains.

Early Thoughts
Of the three, Riverside Bistro & Hair Salon is easily my favourite. The clock tower gives it height, the two businesses keep the interior varied, and that bridge makes the whole model feel like a scene rather than a standalone building.
The Perfume Shop is a strong companion and probably the neater single building, but the bridge set is the one I keep looking at. More importantly, the pair suggests IAMBRICK may be testing a proper connected street range. If Riverside continues with more shops, river sections and crossings, this could become one of the brand’s most interesting themes.
