Lumibricks The Bodega 26 19017 is now officially available, following the early Amazon Germany listing I covered in July. The official listing confirms 618 pieces, 48 printed parts, three LED lights and a compact 16 x 24 base.
This is one I have been looking forward to. It is another of Lumibricks’ smaller Street Fusion sets, which is good to see, but there is still something going on almost everywhere you look.
I have just placed my order, so this is an official release overview rather than a review. A full review should follow once it has arrived and I have built it.
Lumibricks The Bodega 26 19017 Keeps the Footprint Small
The Bodega measures 19.5 cm wide, 13 cm deep and 14 cm high. That makes it an easy fit for a tighter shelf or street layout, much like the Corner Photo Studio 19016, without reducing it to a simple facade.
The front is packed with Papi’s Grocery signs, posters, graffiti, a deli window, an ATM, drinks, newspapers and street furniture. There is even a brick-built bacon, egg and cheese sandwich among the smaller details. It is not short of signs, snacks or things to inspect.
A Busy Shop Inside and Out
The roof lifts away and the back opens to expose the interior. Inside are a refrigerator, display cases and a compact counter area, while the window sill, shelf and counter can be removed to make access easier.
Lumibricks includes one minifigure, Papi The Boss, along with Boss Cat. The cat is exactly where it should be, sitting outside and looking as though it owns the place.
Three LEDs illuminate the storefront and interior. Lumibricks also says the 16 x 24 base can connect with the Skate Shop, Record Store and Boxing Club, so it should slot neatly into an existing Street Fusion street.

I have placed an order for The Bodega 26 and I am looking forward to seeing how all of this detail works at such a small scale. The detachable roof and open back should help, but the real test will be how easy it is to appreciate the interior once everything is in place.
