It looks like the frontier layout is expanding yet again. A fresh Amazon listing has inadvertently revealed the next major addition to the highly popular Lumibricks Western line: the Lumibricks Western Fur Trading Post. Following on the heels of the towering, dense structures like the Old West Meeting Hall and Old West Inn, this new model takes a completely different architectural direction, opting for a low-slung, wide-open layout that brings a welcoming change of pace to the theme.

A Welcome Shift in Scale and Architecture
One of the most immediate standouts of the Fur Trading Post is its height. This model is a single-storey building with a lower profile which is a nice design choice to stop layouts from looking like a uniform wall of two-storey blocks, adding genuine structural variety to a display.
The main building features a beautifully textured timber façade with a large overhanging porch roof, a rustic “TRADE” signpost, and a side-mounted corral structure framed by an impressive brick-built saguaro cactus. The warm, yellow interior lighting peeks through the windows, maintaining the classic illuminated atmosphere that the brand is known for.
Historical Realism: The Inclusion of the Teepee
What truly sets this kit apart is the inclusion of a beautifully detailed Native American teepee pitched directly alongside the trading post. The alternative brick market has historically avoided touching on the complex relationship between European settlers and Indigenous peoples, making this a bold and interesting choice for Lumibricks.
The execution here appears focused entirely on historical realism and peaceful commerce rather than outdated conflict tropes. By including a dedicated trading counter out the front, a traditional campfire assembly, and detailed drying racks for processing pelts and fish, the set frames the scene as a bustling, historical point of cultural exchange. The canvas elements on the teepee feature clean, vibrant geometric prints that feel respectful and deeply grounded in the historical setting.
Minifigures and Details
The Amazon listing confirms that the set will include three exclusive minifigures. The line-up features a Western trader alongside two incredibly detailed Indigenous figures sporting elaborate, custom-moulded traditional headdresses and beautifully printed buckskin attire.
Between the unique printed elements, the detailed outdoor landscape, and the inclusion of the teepee structure, the Old West Trading Post looks to be an absolute must-have centrepiece that bridges the gap between the town centre and the open wilderness.
There is no official release date or pricing listed on the marketplace entry just yet, but given that the packaging assets are completely finalised, we can likely expect an official store drop soon.
