Lumibricks Moon Bar (18009) – A Neon-Soaked Coastal Retreat

Lumibricks has now officially launched the Moon Bar (18009) on its website, after the set first appeared earlier on Amazon.

This one leans hard into the brand’s road-trip-meets-coastal-nightlife look, with a neon-lit bar, folding-open structure, and a lot of interior detail packed into a fairly compact footprint.

Fold-Open Design With Detailed Interiors

The structure features a three-tier removable levels, but with a twist: the walls on the ground and first floors are hinged, allowing the building to “fold open” to reveal the detailed interiors.

  • Ground Floor: A fully stocked bar with a dartboard, jukebox, and a live music area.
  • First Floor: A “Friends Gathering” lounge with card tables and a balcony overlooking the ocean.
  • Rooftop: A telescope station for stargazing, topped with a massive, brick-built “Moon Bar” sign.

Has It Grown On Me?

The Moon Bar has improved for me since that first Amazon listing. Seeing more of the interior, along with details like the surfboard menu and other printed elements, gives it a lot more character than I first thought.

I am still a bit on the fence about the brick-built sign. It is not the fact that it is brick-built rather than printed, it is more that the typography feels like it could have been handled better.

So overall, this one has grown on me, but I think I will need to get my hands on it before I can give a proper verdict.
