Pantasy School of Arts

Pantasy School of Arts (85044) Appears Ahead of March 2026 Release

Pantasy appear to have another large modular building on the way, and this one looks like it’s aimed squarely at city builders.

A new set titled School of Arts (85044) has started appearing at European retailers, including ShopForGeek, giving us an early look at what is shaping up to be one of Pantasy’s largest releases to date.

Unlike their smaller retro gadgets or licensed display pieces, this is a full-scale, multi-storey modular building, clearly designed to sit alongside other city-style modulars rather than as a standalone display.

What We Know So Far

Based on the retailer listing, this is a substantial build.

Set name: School of Arts
Set number: 85044
Piece count: 3,463 pieces
Theme: Modular / City
Release window: March 2026

At over 3,400 pieces, this places it firmly in the same bracket as some of LEGO’s larger modular buildings, such as Assembly Square or the Natural History Museum.

While Pantasy themselves haven’t made a formal announcement yet, the March release window appears to line up with comments made in the Pantasy Facebook group, where a group admin indicated that these sets are expected to land around that time.

First Impressions of the Design

From the box art currently circulating, the School of Arts leans into a more classical architectural style. The façade features tall columns, arched windows, and a prominent “School of Arts” sign, giving it a distinctly European university or museum feel.

The images also show several minifigures, including what appear to be students painting outdoors on easels.

This set feels a bit different to some of Pantasy’s recent modulars. A few of their newer buildings have leaned quite heavily into decorative or stylised design, which can make them harder to slot into an existing city layout. The School of Arts looks more restrained, and that makes it easier to imagine it sitting alongside more traditional modular buildings without standing out for the wrong reasons.

Lighting?

It’s also worth noting that the box clearly shows “Light Kit”, which strongly suggests lighting is included out of the box. Pantasy included integrated lighting in their recent modular, The Architecture Firm, so hopefully this is a trend they continue.

Availability

The set was first spotted via ShopForGeek, which currently lists it ahead of release. With a March 2026 window now appearing consistent across sources, I’d expect an official reveal from Pantasy within the next few weeks.

As always, availability and regional stock may vary once it launches.

What do you think? Does a large art school modular like this earn a place in your city, or are you holding out for something else? Let me know in the comments.
