Lumibricks have added a substantial new set to their lineup with the reveal of the Steampunk Mechanical Workshop (11015), a large, display-focused build that expands their steampunk range once again.
The set comes in at 2,006 pieces. As expected from Lumibricks, integrated lighting is a major part of the design. The Mechanical Workshop includes 13 light points, used throughout the interior and exterior to highlight machinery, workspaces, and decorative elements. Power is supplied via a battery box using three AA batteries, which are not included.
One of the more interesting design features is the panoramic opening structure. The building splits open to expose the interior, giving full access to the workshop’s internal scenes without needing to remove large sections. Inside, Lumibricks have divided the space into multiple themed areas, including a design and repair section, a testing and display area, and additional mechanical detailing spread across both floors.
Lumibricks list 23 printed bricks in total, covering signage, instruments, schematics, and decorative panels.
Visually, the Mechanical Workshop fits neatly alongside Lumibricks’ existing steampunk releases. The colour palette sticks to warm browns, dark blues, and metallic gold tones, with exposed gears, pipes, and mechanical assemblies used throughout the build. A rooftop crane and external machinery help push the industrial theme even further.
The Steampunk Mechanical Workshop (11015) is priced at $109.99 USD / £106.00 GBP on the Lumibricks store at the time of writing and is already listed under New Arrivals.
