Time Rift Library (11012)
As I’ve mentioned before, I’m very big into Steampunk, so I am absolutely the market for this. My initial impression is that it looks great. There is so much going on. Lots of gold, lots of detail, and the whole thing just looks magical. It also has an insane amount of prints. Sixty eight of them. With seventeen lights, you can be sure this is going to look amazing when it’s lit up.
I can also spot some gears and mechanisms built into the design. I’m really looking forward to this one.

Sunrise Lighthouse (18007)
The lighthouse, on the other hand, looks ok. It feels a little small for my liking. I might have been spoilt by a certain Danish brand’s lighthouse, so I can’t help comparing the two. Although to be fair, that set costs way more than this one.
