Lumibricks have been busy again with more new releases, and three of them caught my eye. Each one sits in a different theme, and all three bring something completely different to the table.
Sylvan Inn (X Series)
The Sylvan Inn sits under their X Series, which is usually where Lumibricks put sets that don’t yet have a full theme built around them. This one immediately gives off a magical, fairy-tale vibe. The colours alone make it feel like something from a fantasy novel. It’s definitely something that would stand out in a display.
And I know what you’re all thinking… is that a translucent horse?
Yes. Yes it is. And it looks brilliant.
It’s listed on their site already, with US and Canada stock available right now. Other regions will have to wait a bit until the warehouses get stocked. The set has also started appearing on Amazon, so wider availability shouldn’t be too far off.

Western Bank Heist
This one looks great at first glance. It’s big, bold, and has loads of presence. There’s even a play feature where part of the bank wall “explodes” outward, which is a fun touch. If you prefer the building intact, they include the extra pieces so you can keep it looking clean.
The only thing I’m not fully sold on yet is how well it fits with the rest of their Western sets. Most of the older builds in that theme have a worn, dusty, proper frontier-town look.
Maybe the bank will look too clean and too polished next to them? I’ll be getting this one, so once I can put it side by side with the other Western builds, I’ll see if it blends in or stands out like a shiny new penny.

Alchemist’s Moving Castle (Steampunk)
This one is hard not to compare to Howl’s Moving Castle at first glance. It sits in the Steampunk series, which Lumibricks seem to be properly committed to now. They’ve dropped a whole wave of Steampunk sets this past month, complete with maps and story bits that flesh the world out.
Funny thing is, this was the theme that first drew me to Lumibricks, and yet I haven’t bought a single Steampunk set yet. I will eventually, once I get through the ever-growing backlog of sets waiting to be built.
This one also appears to be available in the US and Canada already, and Amazon listings are starting to show up too.
