Lumibricks Sets Retiring Soon – Going, Going, Gone!

Lumibricks have updated their retirement list again, and while some of these sets have been sitting there for a while, a few newer additions caught my attention. Rather than listing everything, these are the ones I think are actually worth mentioning.

Medieval Tailor Shop

I was genuinely surprised to see this one added to the list. It’s a set I already own and one I plan to review in the future. If you’re collecting the Medieval theme, this is absolutely one you should consider picking up sooner rather than later.

At the moment, stock is still available on the official site in most regions, with the UK being the notable exception.

A-Frame Cabin (F9013)

This is an older set, going back to the days when Lumibricks still used stickers. Yes, stickers. From what I can tell, anything earlier than roughly F9030 still relied on them.

If you’re a completionist, this is one you may want to grab while you still can. Stock is currently available across all regions on the official site. Personally, I’ll be giving this one a miss. I much prefer LEGO’s A-Frame Cabin, and shelf space is limited.

The Hen House

This is a small, charming little set and probably one of the nicer examples from the farming range. That said, it’s not one I’ll be picking up. I find the pricing a little high for what it is, and I already have a long list of other sets competing for attention.

Stock is currently limited to Canada and Global shipping.

Farm Store

The farming theme isn’t one I’ve explored much so far, but I do like the look of several of the sets, particularly things like the greenhouse. This Farm Store is another strong entry. It’s packed with detail and feels like a proper scene rather than a simple building.

This is one I’m actively considering adding to my collection. Official site stock is available, though not currently for the UK.

Medieval Watchtower

I was also a little surprised to see this one marked for retirement. I’ve picked up most of the Medieval range, but I’ve generally skipped the more castle-style builds like this.

For me, it feels more like a filler set than a substantial centrepiece, but there’s no denying it looks good and fits the theme well. If you’re building out a Medieval layout, this still makes sense.

Carpentry Van

This is a set I didn’t even realise existed until recently. It’s not really my thing, but if you’re into workshop or trade-based builds, this looks like a neat little addition with some nice detailing.

Deer Crossing

This set never really appealed to me. It feels like another filler piece, and I’ve never been quite sure what I’d actually do with it in a layout.

That said, the vehicle looks decent and the stone arch is nicely built. If you want this one, you’ll need to hunt it down via third-party sellers, as it’s now out of stock everywhere on the official site.

Farmstead Cheese House

Another farming-themed set, and yes, it does come with a goat. It looks nice overall, but official stock is now completely gone, so you’re looking at third-party sellers only if this one is on your list.

The remaining sets on the retirement page have been there for a while now, so it’s worth having a look through the list yourself to see if anything catches your eye.

One final note: There are some Steampunk sets listed, such as the Ore Train and Train Station, so these may be desirable if you are into this theme.

As always, if a set has been sitting on your “maybe” list for too long, this is usually the point where hesitation starts costing money.
