Lumibricks Manga Shop 17015 is now listed on the official Lumibricks website with a mid-September release window. A second official page also confirms that a Micro Izakaya & Manga Shop 17016 will be offered as a complimentary gift with the main set.
This is an official preview rather than a release. Manga Shop 17015 is not available to order yet, and Lumibricks has not confirmed a genuine price, piece count or exact launch date.
Even with only two teaser images for the main building, there is quite a lot to pick through. Traditional rooflines, cyberpunk signage, an enormous rooftop cat and a bright manga billboard are all competing for attention, and somehow that seems to be the point.
Lumibricks Manga Shop 17015 Looks Like the Izakaya Successor
During its 2026 anniversary roadmap, Lumibricks said the Neo District would receive a new Japanese-style building designed as a spiritual successor to its popular Izakaya set. The Manga Shop certainly looks like that model, although Lumibricks has not explicitly confirmed the connection on either product page.
The two-storey building mixes tiled Japanese roofs and timber-style shopfronts with exposed cables, neon lighting and a large illuminated manga billboard. A mechanical-looking cat mascot stretches across the roof while holding an open manga, which is not a sentence I expected to write this morning.
At street level, the official images show a small manga stall, display units, narrow entrances and a machine built into the side of the pavement. Two figures and a black cat are also shown beside the model. The lighting appears to cover the roof edges, upper shopfront, vertical sign and billboard, but the number of LEDs and lighting zones has not been announced.
A Limited Micro Izakaya & Manga Shop Gift
The companion set is more clearly documented. Lumibricks describes Micro Izakaya & Manga Shop 17016 as a complimentary gift with Manga Shop 17015 and says it will not be available for individual purchase.
The 388-piece model places miniature versions of the Izakaya and Manga Shop side by side. It includes 17 printed bricks and comes in four bags. The finished build measures 12.8 cm wide, 6.7 cm deep and 13.4 cm high.
Despite its size, the micro version keeps several of the most recognisable details, including the Izakaya’s curved tree, the Manga Shop billboard and the oversized cat on the roof. It should make a neat companion display without needing another full cyberpunk block.
What Lumibricks Has Not Confirmed Yet
The official Manga Shop page currently uses placeholder pricing, so there is no valid retail price to report. Lumibricks has also not confirmed the main set’s piece count, full dimensions, exact launch date or complete lighting specification.
The gift terms are equally important. We know 17016 is tied to Manga Shop 17015, but the page does not yet state whether it will be available in every region, how long the offer will run or how many gifts will be produced.
There is no known Amazon listing or ASIN at this stage, and neither official product page is accepting orders. I will update this post when Lumibricks confirms the price, release date and qualification terms for the limited gift.
