Stream Recap: Lumibricks Drops 2026 Cyberpunk Product Roadmap in Anniversary Broadcast

Lumibricks celebrated its fourth anniversary with a highly unique, immersive live broadcast that pulled back the curtain on its popular Neon City sub-theme. Styled as an in-universe emergency hearing from a city under lockdown, the stream featured direct appearances from the design team, a look at their creative process, and a massive official roadmap revealing exactly how many sets are coming to each district in 2026.

The Minds Behind the Neon City

The broadcast introduced the core creative team behind the Cyberpunk universe, including product manager Hao, a designer nicknamed Raccoon, and creative manager Lingshan. In an industry where design teams often remain completely anonymous, this open communication provided a rare look into how these intricate models are conceptualised.

When asked about how they integrate their signature light kits, product manager Hao revealed a fascinating detail about their quality control process. The design team does not rely on digital applications or software to plan the lighting matrices. Instead, they build multiple iterations of physical brick models, testing the wiring layouts by hand over numerous runs to ensure a seamless building experience for the customer.

The designers also cited classic sci-fi cinema like Blade Runner and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners as heavy visual influences, alongside real-world architectural movements such as Brutalism.

Massive 2026 Expansion Roadmap Revealed

The biggest segment of the night came during the final minutes of the broadcast, where Lumibricks officially confirmed that eleven brand-new NeonCity sets are planned for release across the remainder of 2026.

The expansion is broken down by specific fictional districts, giving collectors a clear idea of what aesthetics to expect:

  • Nexus District (High-Tech Corporate Corporate Hub): Approved for two new sets focusing on data algorithms and controlled corporate environments.
  • Well Reverb District (Luxury Entertainment): Expanding with four new sets designed around high-end nightlife, sensory experiences, and luxury routines.
  • Neo District (Urban Middle Layer): Receiving four new sets themed around late-night living, crowded apartment interiors, and spaces where citizens head after work. The team explicitly hinted that one of these will be a new Japanese-style building to act as a spiritual successor to their incredibly popular Izakaya set.
  • The Rust Spine (Industrial Wasteland): A brand-new district receiving one massive flagship set later this year. The designers noted that the Rust Spine has been a massive engineering challenge because creating a “broken down, industrial” aesthetic that still looks beautiful on display is highly complex.

Future Teasers and Community Q&A

During a quick-fire community question segment, the team addressed several highly requested product features. While legal restrictions currently prevent Lumibricks from including rechargeable battery packs inside their vehicle kits, they confirmed they are actively looking into establishing localised physical retail stores worldwide to meet fans offline.

Furthermore, the team teased that the single largest, most time-consuming Cyberpunk model they have ever engineered is currently on the schedule for release later this winter. With eleven sets locked in and a brand-new industrial district on the horizon, Cyberpunk collectors will need to start clearing out some serious shelf space.
